Patrice Lambert
Funeral Director
Owner / Manager
From a young age, Patrice knew he wanted to help families as a funeral director. Originally from Iroquois Falls, he gained insight into how a funeral home operates by working in various roles within a local funeral home in his community.
After graduating from École secondaire l’Alliance, he enrolled at Collège Boréal to prepare for a career in the funeral industry. Patrice later expanded his knowledge of the industry through an internship and a Funeral Director’s position in Toronto. He then relocated to Ottawa, where he gained valuable experience as a funeral director and manager within a well-known organization in the funeral profession. After his time in Ottawa, Patrice continued his career as a Funeral Director in the Témiscamingue region.
Patrice is pleased to have relocated to Kapuskasing, where he has the privilege of serving families and being part of a wonderful community.
In his spare time, Patrice enjoys spending time with his family, being outdoors, and hunting. Patrice and his spouse, Karelle, are the proud parents of Arthur and Mulane.

Karelle Bélanger

Karelle is originally from Malartic, Quebec. After attending a presentation by a local funeral director, she was inspired to pursue a career in the funeral profession. She enrolled in the Funeral Service Program at Collège Boréal, in Sudbury, where she developed the knowledge and skills necessary in her future career.
Karelle later moved to Toronto, gaining valuable experience as a funeral director intern, and working with two well-established firms. After several years in Toronto, Karelle relocated to the Ottawa area, where she continued to serve families with compassion and professionalism. After her time in Ottawa, Karelle continued her career as a Funeral Director in the Témiscamingue region.
Karelle is proud to be part of this beautiful community and is dedicated to serving families with dignity and respect.
In her spare time, Karelle enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and exploring nature. She and her spouse, Patrice, are the proud parents of Arthur and Mulane.

Sara was born and raised in New Liskeard, Ontario. She graduated with honours from École secondaire Sainte-Marie and attended College Boreal in Sudbury, where she obtained her Ontario Funeral Director's License in June 2006 after her apprenticeship at Guenette Funeral Home.
Sara is active in her community and can often be found helping behind the scenes for various fundraising events. She is a board member for the Kapuskasing Horticultural Society and the Northern Corridor Children’s Fund, and is currently on the committee for Catch the Ace Kapuskasing.
In her spare time, she enjoys staying active with her family, reading, and gardening. Sara and her husband, Jason, are the proud parents of their children, Kaleb and Annabel.

Allain arrived in Kapuskasing in 1992, upon beginning his internship with the Guenette Funeral Home, following his graduation from Humber College. He received his Ontario Funeral Director’s Licence in 1993, and accepted a full-time position with the Guenette Funeral Home. In 2015, he acquired the company from Jules Joly. In 2025, Allain sold the company to Karelle Bélanger and Patrice Lambert.
In 2004, Allain was the recipient of the Kapuskasing & District Chamber of Commerce’s Best Customer Service Award. He has also served as the Finance Chairperson with the Kapuskasing and District Association for Community Living; was Past President of the Northeastern Ontario Funeral Service Association; and served a term on municipal council of the Municipality of Val Rita.
Allain’s retirement plans are to play golf, pickleball and travel, as well as volunteering and giving back to the community. We are grateful that he has accepted to remain employed with us from time to time as required.
